    MANKO Delivery Systems Inc. – One Year Later!

    It is our pleasure to confirm the success of the first year of MANKO Delivery Systems, Inc. under the ownership and direction of Dave Armitage – CEO / President and Bryan Bilchik – COO / SVP.

    Acquiring the business in January of 2014 and working diligently on establishing a solid foundation for service in our marketplace, it has been a year of opportunity and development. We have assembled an excellent team of dedicated Management, Operations and Driver personnel. This team consistently exceeds the service standards set forth by the various customers’ requirements and is a critical element in our confidence for the future of MANKO.

    February 25, 2015 marks the anniversary of our expansion to the southwest Florida marketplace when we opened a dedicated facility for service. This facility (5,865 sq ft) with dock high and ramp grade access, allows for direct line haul connection from our Tampa facility (46,400 sq ft) and distribution to the markets throughout southwest Florida. Jeremy Garbin, RSW Station Manager, has been with us from our initial market planning through to today and leads the team in Fort Myers in providing excellent service to MANKO customers. The additional facility supports our geographic coverage goals of providing direct service from Hernando County (Brooksville, FL) on the north, Collier County (Marco) to the south, Polk County (Lakeland) to the east and the Gulf Coast to the west!

    We will continue to build on the foundation established in warehouse, cross dock, line haul, white glove, two man, lift-gate and courier services. We are looking to add the customers, equipment and facilities necessary to provide excellence in service throughout Florida!

    January 10th, 2014: David Armitage and Bryan Bilchik are extremely pleased to announce the completion of their purchase of Manko Delivery Systems, Inc from it’s founder – John Benko. With an excellent base of customers, dedicated team members and a vision for expansion; David Armitage as President/CEO and Bryan Bilchik as VP/COO are extremely excited about the business potential and future success. With facilities servicing the Tampa and Fort Myers markets Manko is positioned to provide service throughout Central and Southwest Florida.

Our field management has logistics expertise and partners with employees and 100-plus owner-operator drivers who are committed to your satisfaction. Driver training and compliance are fundamental components in our company’s DNA. All shipments are transported in secured vehicles at all times, and drivers wear photo identification badges for your protection. All MANKO employees and owner-operators are subjected to a rigid screening process including:

  • Drug screen
  • Full local, state and national criminal background check for past seven years
  • Citizenship verification
  • Previous employment verification
  • Motor Vehicle Reports on all drivers

MANKO assures complete insurance coverage to meet or exceed our customers’ requirements, and all owner-operators are covered with occupational accident insurance (OAI). MANKO contracts its owner-operator needs thru Subcontracting Concepts Inc. (SCI). SCI’s agreements include the latest legal language designed to protect MANKO customers from legal proceedings resulting from driver error.

To better serve you, we also offer a certified claims investigator, legal support and an insurance department and an innovative, responsive IT team.

Our processes are designed with your needs in mind.

In addition to the recruiting, training and policies that MANKO maintains for its employees and drivers, we assure high levels of customer service and satisfaction through our operating procedures, such as:

  • Solid SOP’s: We have a proven plan for ensuring your shipment is on time, every time and for meeting your individual needs for service with customized solutions.
  • Client Management: Managers and teams are there to serve you. MANKO client management also includes a detailed written Service Correction Plan in the event of a service failure.
  • Emergency Preparedness: We are experienced in handling challenges that emerge from inclement weather, natural disaster or any other emergency and have the resources in place to respond throughout Florida to assist in the recovery of normal operations.

Security is a Must

In addition to the secure transport we offer on every shipment our facilities:

  • Are equipped with alarm systems,
  • Have multiple cameras that record remotely and can be monitored remotely via the Internet
  • Offer a TSA compliant as well as being a fully bonded operation.
  • Recurrent Dangerous Goods training and certification.
  • Lastly, our vigilant associates and strategic and trained partners will always act as our best defense in protecting our customers’ shipments.
